Description

A trip to Ørnenipa is a fairly easy trail in varied hiking terrain.

At the top of Ørnenipa, 1333 meters above sea level, you have a great view of Gaustatoppen, Tuddal and Tinnsjøen.

The trail is about 10 km and takes about 3 hours, both ways. This hike is easy accessible from the Gausta area.

You can walk from Gaustablikk Høyfjellshotell, but if you want to make it a little bit easier you can drive to Vatnedalen at the end of Kvitåvatnvegen.

Park your car, walk pass the road block and follow the road straight ahead.

Take to the left in Vatnedalsvegen, and follow the road to the top.

At the end of the road, follow the trail up to the mountain Ørnenipa.
